Geometry Definitions

Hi Grade 5s,

For homework tonight, you had to find the definitions for the following geometry terms:


  • equilateral triangle
  • isosceles triangle
  • scalene triangle
  • pentagon
  • hexagon
  • octagon
  • parallelogram
  • trapezoid

  2. equilateral triangle is a triangle with three equal side and a isosceles triangle is a triangle with 1 pair of equal sides scalene triangle ia a triangle with no pairs of equal sides and a pentagon is a shape with 5 sides and a hexagon is a shape with 6 sides and a octagon is a shape with 8 sides and a parallelogram is a shape with 2 pairs of equal sides and have at least one pair of parelel sides and a trapezoid is a shape with4 never not even i pair of equal sides and has 1 pair of parelel sides peace out ms lewis written from deshane a.k.a deshane :)

    An equilateral triangle is a triangle with three equal sides and angles. An isosceles triangle has i pair of equal sides and angles.A scalene triangle ia a triangle with no pairs of equal sides and angles.A pentagon is a shape with 5 sides and angles. A hexagon is a shape with 6 sides and angles.A heptagon is a shape with seven sides.An octogon is a shape with eight sides and angles.A parallelogram is a shape with 2 pairs and mostly have 2 pairs of parallel sides.A trapezoid is a shape with 1 pair of parallel sides and mostly have no equal sides .A polygon is any closed shape with at least three sides and there are no curved lines only straight lines.It has been a pleasure seving you.
